Biography
LISA: The First
Brad was born to Marty Armstrong. Not much is known about their relationship before the events of the series, but his younger sister (and the protagonist of the first game) was born shortly after he was.
It is implied that his mother died shortly after giving birth to Lisa and as a consequence Marty becomes an abusive father, tormenting Brad physically and verbally, making him depressed. Once Lisa grew up, Marty not only started to abuse her physically but sexually as well.
With Lisa not able to endure more abuse, she committed suicide. Brad, feeling he couldn’t save her, feels extremely guilty over her death and starts giving martial arts classes to children so they can defend themselves. Unfortunately, he becomes addicted to pain killers so that he can cope with his life.
Eventually his dojo would be raided by Berny, a childhood friend of Lisa, as an act of revenge for failing to protect her.
LISA: The Painful
After «The Flash» and the apocalypse, Brad lives with his childhood friends on a small house. One day, he finds a newborn baby on the ground, which he decides to take home. When he and his friends discover the baby is a female, instead of giving her to Rando for resources and technically saving the world, he decides to adopt her and take care of her. He decides to name her Buddy, and tries his best to make her happy.
After Buddy grows up, the world finds out about her existence and she is kidnaped shortly after. After finding out that Buddy was kidnapped and one of his friends was murdered in cold blood, he goes on a journey to find her and presumably save her.
LISA: The Joyful
As a consequence of the events of the previous game, Brad has become a joy mutant. He begins fighting Buddy in his new deranged state, Buddy fights back but is interrupted by Buzzo before she can deal a fatal blow. Buzzo takes Brad to a small cave, but is unsure what do to with the mutated freak that used to be the man that he has despised throughout most of his life.

With the release of his 2006 AVN Award Winner Eternity (2005), Armstrong’s career reached another plateau of commercial and artistic excellence. In the spring of 2006 Armstrong garnered even more critical acclaim with the adventure epic Curse Eternal (2006). In addition to winning rave reviews, the project also proved to be an out-of-the-gate hit in terms of sales. By June the continued sales strength of this haunting supernatural feature earned it a coveted «Buyers’ Choice» certification from the noted news authority and adult webmaster resource XBiz.
2005
The 2005 AVN Awards saw his The Collector (2004) winning both Best Art Direction and Best Screenplay. Armstrong has continued to produce shot-on-film features, while simultaneously exhibiting his ever-evolving artistry through solid narrative, award-winning acting, and overarching visual elegance.

2001
In 2001 Armstrong’s Dreamquest (2000) won many awards, including DVD of the Year from both the VSDA and the XRCO.

Canadian-born Brad Armstrong’s career was initially determined while he was still in college, where he majored in commercial art and advertising. He soon began his adventures in adult-film production while simultaneously establishing himself as one of the adult industry’s most in-demand performers. After self-financing his first film effort, he met Wicked Pictures President Steven Orenstein at the East Coast Video Show. Impressed with the new filmmaker’s talent and vision, Orenstein signed him to an exclusive contract in 1996. Since then, Armstrong has created many of Wicked’s best and biggest features. In his first years with the company, Armstrong made it apparent that he was the director to watch.

1962-2012 (Age 50)
A member of one of wrestling’s underrated dynasties, Brad Armstrong competed alongside his father “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, breaking into the business at age 18.
A talented wrestler, Brad Armstrong worked a number of gimmicks, but never found the same success as his father, or brother. Nonetheless, Brad Armstrong was highly respected in the industry, both in and out of the ring.

Breaking in at a Young Age
The son of WWE Hall of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, Brad broke into the business at the age of 18, working in the NWA’s Southeastern Championship Wrestling territory.
Before long, Armstrong was on the nationally syndicated program World Championship Wrestling, competing alongside his famous father Bob in Georgia Championship Wrestling.
Brad also teamed with Tim Horner, forming the team known as The Lightning Express.
The rising young star worked the territories as well as in Japan, competing in All Japan Pro Wrestling’s World Junior Heavyweight Championship tournament.
Regional Championships
Brad Armstrong’s good looks, technical abilities, and speed in the ring made him a regional star, with him winning regional championships around the United States. Brad would win singles honors such as the Georgia National Championship, the Mid-South North American Championship, the Smoky Mounty Championship, and the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship. His team with Tim Horner proved successful as they captured Georgia’s National Tag Team Championship and the UWF Tag Team Championship. Brad’s team with his father yielded tag team gold in Georgia and Southeastern Championship Wrestling.
A Vastly Underrated Star
Brad Armstrong was no curtain-jerker as he never reached the level of success as his dad, or brother Brian (aka The Road Dogg Jesse James). Certainly, the number of bad gimmicks WCW saddled him with in the early 1990’s didn’t help. Working as “The Candyman,” “Fantasia/Badstreet,” and the lawsuit-magnet Arachnaman did nothing for Brad’s career (although he did have the good fortune of wrestling under a mask for the latter two).

Still, Armstrong was highly regarded by his peers, including announcer Jim Ross who stated in his blog:
“One of the greatest things someone in our business can say of any wrestler is that said wrestler could have a good match with anyone, no matter who. Brad Armstrong certainly fits on a rather short list of wrestlers that could literally have a good match with anyone. I’ve called 100’s of Brad Armstrong bouts, in singles and in tags, in main events and in prelims, and I never saw him have what would be perceived as a “bad match.” Not one time.”
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin complimented Armstrong in his autobiography The Stone Cold Truth:

“Brad Armstrong could work with anybody. That guy was as smooth as silk…He was like Ricky Steamboat, in a way—another guy you went out there with and never had to say a word to. He knew the finish and how to get there. I knew how good he could be. I’d call all the spots in the ring and we’d just wrestle”
After his in-ring career slowed down, Brad went to work in the WWE’s version of ECW as a trainer, producer, and guest commentator on a few occasions.
He appeared at his father’s induction into the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame class.
Brad Armstrong’s Sudden Death
On November 1, 2012, Brad was found dead in his Kennesaw, Georgia home. He was 50 years old at the time of his passing.
Armstrong had seen his physician the previous week for an undisclosed treatment, but his cause of death was never publicly disclosed. He is survived by his wife Lori and daughter Jillian.

Career[]
Brad started out in Southeast Championship Wrestling in July . He was a face, or good guy, due to his good looks and superb wrestling ability. He feuded with Jerry Stubbs and Tom Prichard during his stay there and won the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) United States Junior Heavyweight title there.
National Wrestling Alliance
Later he moved to the Georgia part of the NWA and feuded with Ted DiBiase and with father Bob, The Fabulous Freebirds of Michael P.S. Hayes, Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts. He also became friends with Tim Horner. He and Horner formed a team called the Lightning Express, due to Horner’s nickname of «White Lightning» and Armstrong’s quickness.
Brad wrestled in Mid-South Wrestling (later known as the Universal Wrestling Federation) with Horner and they feuded with the «Sheepherders», later known as The Bushwhackers, Butch Miller and Luke Williams. They also had some matches with future superstars Sting and Rick Steiner. The Lightning Express then went to World Championship Wrestling.
World Championship Wrestling
In May 1991, Brad was put in a mask as «Badstreet», the masked member of The Fabulous Freebirds along with Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin. They won the WCW World Six-Man Tag Team Championship, while Hayes and Garvin also held the WCW United States Tag Team Championship. Brad never revealed his Badstreet identity on television.
Later that year he was given another masked gimmick, Arachnaman, who looked so much like Spider-Man that Marvel Comics sued WCW, who soon dropped the gimmick. On July 5, 1992, Brad won the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship (also known as the first incarnation of the WCW Cruiserweight Title), defeating Scotty Flamingo. He soon injured his knee during a tour of Japan and he was stripped of the title two months later at the Clash of the Champions. He returned in November 1992 and remained with the company until early 1995.
United States Wrestling Association and Smokey Mountain Wrestling
Armstrong worked for Smoky Mountain Wrestling for the rest of 1995, capturing their title in the process, but eventually returned to WCW in 1996.
Return to World Championship Wrestling
Between 1997 and 1998, Brad had developed a heel turn, where his string of losses was blamed by the «Armstrong Curse».
In 1999, he was repackaged as «B.A.», a member of the No Limit Soldiers stable. After the group disbanded, he embarked on a feud against Berlyn, who attacked Armstrong’s brother Scott. The feud ran through Halloween Havoc, where Armstrong defeated Berlyn.
He was later given the gimmick of «Buzzkill», a takeoff of his brother Brian’s gimmick Road Dogg, which was a Vince Russo creation. In fact, the theme song he used for the character was very similar to the New Age Outlaws theme song in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). The gimmick was less successful due to fans feeling it an imitation of the Road Dogg persona, as well as a lack of awareness that the two were brothers.
He injured his knee early in 2000 in an accident backstage at a WCW Saturday Night taping, where Armstrong got run over, severely injuring his knee. After going through knee surgery, his WCW contract expired in 2001, and he left the business for a few years, until returning to the independent circuit in 2004.
World Wrestling Entertainment
On September 12, 2006, Armstrong signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment and began wrestling at ECW brand house shows and acting as a trainer to the younger members of the roster. In December, around the time rumors of ECW color commentator Tazz leaving the company began to circulate, Armstrong began to make sporadic appearances as a «guest commentator» on the brand. The three-man booth, originally for a single match on the December 19 episode before expanding to a full show on January 9, did not last and Armstrong resumed his role as a producer.

Brad Armstrong features examples of:
- Alternate Company Equivalent: Buzzkill was basically WCW’s answer to the character Brad’s brother Jesse James played in the WWF, Road Dogg. This was lampshaded during the backstage vignette setting up the character, where Brad asked Vince Russo when he’d get a title shot, and Vince replied, «When you get a personality like your brother!»
- Brown Bag Mask: He wore a brown paper bag over his head as Mr. R.
- Captain Ersatz: Arachnaman was obviously meant to be Spider-Man, to the point the character was aborted early once Marvel Comics got wind of it and threatened to sue.
- Charlie Brown from Outta Town: He was actually involved in a subversion of this. After Tommy Rich lost a Loser Leaves Town match, a wrestler wearing a brown paper bag over his head appeared shortly afterwards, named «Mr. R». Everybody assumed that it was Rich, especially Ted DiBiase, the wrestler Rich was feuding against, until he unmasked Mr. R in a match and revealed him to be Armstrong.
- Cool Mask: He wore (elaborate) masks as one half of the Dos Hombres, Fantasia/Badstreet, the Freedom Fighter and as Arachnaman.
- Finishing Move: Russian Legsweep.
- I Have Many Names: In addition to «Brad Armstrong», there was one of the Dos Hombres, Fantasia, Badstreet, the Freedom Fighter, Arachnaman, B.A. and Buzzkill.
- Jobber: He spent most of his later career in WCW as enhancement talent.
- New-Age Retro Hippie: The difference between Buzzkill and the character it was ripping off, Brad’s brother Road Dogg, was that Buzzkill was basically a hippie: acting constantly baked, wearing tie-dyed t-shirts, carrying signs and so on.
- Parts Unknown: As Arachnaman, he was billed from «Web City.»
- Power Stable:
- (in SMW): Armstrong’s Army, with his father «Bullet» Bob, his brothers Scott, Steve, Brian (Road Dogg), Tracy Smothers and The Rock N Roll Express
- (in WCW): The No Limit Soldiers
- Red Baron: «Candyman».
- Spider-Man Send-Up: Arachnaman was an obvious send-off to Spider-Man. In fact, the character was aborted early once Marvel Comics got wind of it and threatened to sue.
- Tag Team:
- The Lightning Express, with «White Lightning» Tim Horner.
- The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express , with Ricky Morton.
- White Gangbangers: As B.A. in the No Limit Soldiers.
- Wrestling Family: A member of the Armstrong wrestling family.
- Yellow/Purple Contrast: The costume he wore as Arachnaman used yellow and purple instead of Spider-Man’s red and blue.

Sex Secrets Of A Mistress (1996) или Cover To Cover (1996).

Brad Armstrong – One of a Kind
There’s always that one guy. When you’re watching a movie or TV show, there’s that one guy whose work shines through, regardless of the size of the role he’s given. Think Ed Harris, who achieved a level of notoriety and acclaim from his fellow actors long before he was ever nominated for an Oscar.
Or consider comedians like Patrice O’Neal or Colin Quinn — not household names, but their work was (still is, in the case of Quinn) often on another level from more accessible comics. Performers like O’Neal and Quinn have been referred to as “the comedian’s comedian.”
That brings us to Brad Armstrong.
“Did Brad ever get any big shots?” Dusty Rhodes said in the Ring of Honor DVD Secrets of the Ring. “I thought Brad was tremendous, and I still do to this time. I felt very comfortable putting him in the main event. Brad Armstrong didn’t want to stay mediocre. He wanted to be on the top.”
And he was on top in several promotions, first coming to prominence on WTBS in Atlanta tagging with his father, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong.
The Armstrongs held the national tag team titles when Ole Anderson was booking Georgia, and then Brad also got a single’s run with the national championship after defeating Ted DiBiase (with a little help from “Wildfire” Tommy Rich).
After trading the title with the Spoiler, Brad moved to Bill Watts’ Mid-South, where he won the North American title from Ernie “The Cat” Ladd.
Related: ‘Million Dollar Man’ TED DIBIASE: The Art of Being a Heel
Put another way: Two of the biggest hardasses in pro wrestling — Ole Anderson and Bill Watts — saw the star potential in Brad, and they never hesitated in putting him over as the promotion’s top champion.
Brad was so good in the ring that workers like DiBiase, Ladd, and Don Jardine didn’t mind putting the youngster over, either.
He also held the Continental championship in his home territory, feuding with guys like the criminally underrated Jerry Stubbs and Dr. Tom Prichard. He also formed successful tag teams with his brother, Scott, and with Magnum T.A., and “White Lightning” Tim Horner.
Armstrong also won the WCW light heavyweight title from Scotty Flamingo (you know him better as Raven). Working under a hood as “Badstreet,” Brad teamed with Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin to win the WCW six-man straps, too. He even won the USWA and Smoky Mountain championships.
In the ring, Brad Armstrong could do anything.
He could work the straight American style. He could mat wrestle, and he could fly off the top rope. He could work the Lucha style, and he could work the stiffer Japanese style.
Brad was a true professional.
In another era, we’d probably be talking about Brad Armstrong as one of the biggest stars in the business.
In interviews, he came across as likable, humble, and sincere — maybe a little too sincere for the national audience, when antiheroes were beginning to really make a push to the forefront of the mass-market entertainment industry.
But there was still a place in the wrestling industry for Brad. Instead of becoming the star he should have been, Brad became a carpenter: He might not be able to draw a house, but he could build one.
